Plumbers Do Gas

This morning I received a call from a Zionsville customer who believed they smelled gas at their water heater so they did what most people do and called their appropriate utility company.

The utility company came out, shut their gas off (so no heat for the house), and told them to call a plumber who is certified to test gas lines. You see, plumbers are the technicians trained and certified to work with natural gas lines and mains on your property, not the utility authority…imagine that.

After performing the needed pressure test, locating the leak, and making the needed repair (in this case replacing a decayed fitting) for minimal cost, this Zionsville customer was able to have the gas utility back out to turn their gas on and were back in hot water…and heat.
